Terms of use, shopping conditions and privacy information for visitors, customers, purchasers, partners, contributors and other users of I2PS Solutions websites and online services.
Effective and last updated: 18 August 2026
Scope. This notice applies to I2PS Solutions websites and online services unless a product, contract, portal or transaction provides separate terms. Mandatory rights under applicable law are not waived by this notice.
PART I
Terms of Use
1. Acceptance and permitted use
By accessing or using an I2PS Solutions website, you agree to use it lawfully and in accordance with these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use features that require acceptance of these Terms. You may browse public content for personal, educational or legitimate business purposes, subject to intellectual-property and other applicable rights.
2. Website purpose and informational content
I2PS Solutions publishes information about engineering, renewable energy, electronics, prototyping, products, projects, education, company activities and editorial content. Website material is provided for general information and may be revised without notice. It is not a substitute for project-specific engineering review, professional safety assessment, legal advice, medical advice, financial advice or other regulated professional advice.
Specifications, diagrams, examples, prototypes, articles and other technical material may describe development-stage work or simplified concepts. Do not rely on website content alone for safety-critical, industrial, medical, electrical, structural or other high-consequence decisions.
3. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, the website design, I2PS names and marks, original text, graphics, photographs, technical illustrations, software and other original materials are owned by or licensed to I2PS Solutions and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, republish, sell, scrape at scale or create derivative commercial works from protected material without permission, except as allowed by law.
Third-party names, marks, images and materials remain the property of their respective owners. Editorial references to third parties do not imply sponsorship or endorsement.
4. Accounts and portal security
If you create or use an I2PS account, you are responsible for providing accurate information, safeguarding your credentials and promptly notifying I2PS of suspected unauthorized use. I2PS may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect users, systems, data or the integrity of the service.
5. Article submissions and other user-provided material
You may submit only material that you have the right to provide. Submitting an article or other material for review does not guarantee acceptance or publication and, by itself, does not transfer ownership to I2PS Solutions. If material is accepted for publication or another use, any additional publication or licensing terms communicated for that submission will apply.
Do not submit confidential, export-controlled, security-sensitive or third-party proprietary information unless you are authorized to do so and I2PS has expressly agreed to receive it under appropriate conditions.
6. Products, availability and transactions
Product descriptions, prices, availability, delivery estimates and technical specifications may change. A website display is not a binding offer unless expressly stated. Orders, engineering engagements, warranties, payments and deliveries may be subject to the Shopping at I2PS terms below as well as separate quotations, confirmations, contracts, warranty terms or provider terms.
7. Prohibited conduct
You may not misuse the websites, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with security or availability, introduce malicious code, impersonate another person, use automated access in a manner that materially burdens the service, harvest personal information, or use the websites to violate law or the rights of others.
8. Third-party services and links
The websites may link to or use third-party services, including hosting, analytics, authentication, communications, call-attribution and other technology providers. Third-party services operate under their own terms and privacy practices. I2PS is not responsible for third-party websites that it does not control.
9. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the websites and public website content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. I2PS does not warrant uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or that every item of public information is complete, current or suitable for a particular purpose. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, I2PS Solutions will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive losses arising solely from use of, or inability to use, public website content. This limitation does not apply where liability cannot legally be limited, and it does not replace the terms of any separate written contract, warranty or transaction.
11. Changes, availability and enforcement
I2PS may update, suspend or discontinue website features and may update these Terms. Material changes will be reflected by a new “last updated” date or other notice where appropriate. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect to the extent permitted by law.
12. United States users and disputes
If you access the website from the United States, applicable U.S. federal and state laws may provide rights or obligations in addition to these Terms. Nothing here limits non-waivable consumer rights or your ability to contact an appropriate regulator or government agency. Before starting a formal private dispute, we encourage you to contact I2PS so the issue can be documented and an informal resolution can be attempted.
PART II
Shopping at I2PS
These shopping terms apply to purchases of products through I2PS Solutions websites, online shop pages, payment links, quotations or other I2PS sales channels, unless a product page, quotation, invoice, written warranty or separate contract states different or additional terms. Mandatory rights under applicable law are not waived.
1. Orders, acceptance and availability
Placing an order is a request to purchase. An order is accepted when I2PS confirms acceptance or otherwise processes the order for fulfillment. Products, configurations and quantities may be limited, discontinued or unavailable. I2PS may decline or cancel an order before shipment for legitimate reasons such as product unavailability, pricing or description errors, payment authorization problems, suspected fraud, export or legal restrictions, or an inability to fulfill the order.
2. Product information and suitability
Customers should review the product description, specifications, compatibility, included accessories and intended use before purchasing. Images may be illustrative, and minor non-material variations may occur. Some I2PS products are technical or application-specific and may require appropriate installation, configuration or use by qualified persons. The buyer is responsible for determining that a product is suitable for the buyer’s intended application unless I2PS expressly agrees otherwise in writing.
3. Prices and payment
Prices are those shown or quoted at the time of purchase, subject to correction of obvious errors before shipment. Payment must be successfully authorized using an accepted payment method. If a payment is reversed, declined or identified as unauthorized, I2PS may place the order on hold or cancel it as permitted by law.
4. Cancellation and refunds before shipment
If you want to cancel an order and request a refund, contact I2PS Customer Servicebefore the product is shipped. Once a product has been physically transferred to the carrier, cancellation is no longer guaranteed and any return is governed by the return rules below. This does not limit any cancellation or refund right that applicable law requires, including rights that may arise from a shipment delay or failure to ship.
5. Shipping, delivery and delays
Any shipping or delivery date is an estimate unless expressly identified as a guaranteed commitment. I2PS will comply with applicable requirements concerning shipment timing, delay notices, customer consent to delays, cancellations and refunds. Delivery may be affected by carrier operations, customs, weather, access restrictions, public authorities or other circumstances outside I2PS’s reasonable control.
6. Shipping charges, local taxes and customs
Unless I2PS expressly agrees otherwise in writing, shipping fees are the responsibility of the buyer. For international or cross-border orders, the buyer is also responsible for applicable local taxes, import duties, customs charges, brokerage fees and similar governmental or carrier charges. These amounts may be collected separately by a carrier, customs authority or other third party and may not appear in the I2PS checkout price.
7. Return eligibility is product-specific
Not every product is returnable. Return eligibility depends on the actual product, its condition, its configuration and any product-specific terms. Before purchasing, customers should check the applicable product information and, when return eligibility is not clearly stated, contact I2PS Customer Service to confirm whether the product is returnable before placing the order. Customized, made-to-order, specially configured, used, clearance, hygiene-sensitive, software-activated or other identified items may be non-returnable where permitted by law and where that limitation is disclosed.
8. Seven-day return window for eligible products
If a product is eligible for return, the customer must request the return and return the product within seven (7) calendar days after delivery, unless the product-specific terms provide a longer period or applicable law requires otherwise. The product must be returned in its original condition, unmodified and with its original packaging, accessories, manuals, labels and other included materials, together with proof of purchase. I2PS may require a return authorization before the product is sent back.
9. Return shipping, inspection and refund method
Unless the return results from an I2PS shipping error, an item that arrived damaged or defective, or another situation in which applicable law requires otherwise, return shipping costs are the buyer’s responsibility. Eligible returns are inspected after receipt. A refund, when approved, will normally be issued to the original payment method. Original shipping charges and third-party taxes, duties, customs or brokerage charges are not refundable by I2PS except where required by law or where I2PS expressly agrees otherwise.
10. Damaged, defective or incorrect products
If a product arrives damaged, appears defective on arrival, or is not the product ordered, contact I2PS Customer Service promptly and preserve the product, packaging and shipping materials while the issue is reviewed. I2PS may request photographs, serial numbers or other reasonable information needed to verify the claim and determine the appropriate repair, replacement, return or refund remedy.
11. Product warranties
Warranty coverage depends on the product. The duration, scope, exclusions and claim procedure for any written I2PS or manufacturer warranty are stated in the product-specific warranty, product page, quotation or documentation made available for that product. Where U.S. law requires written consumer-product warranty terms to be available before sale, I2PS will make the applicable warranty information available accordingly. A return policy and a product warranty are separate: expiration of the seven-day return period does not by itself eliminate rights under an applicable warranty or rights that cannot legally be waived.
12. Product use and safety
Customers must follow supplied instructions, warnings, electrical ratings, installation requirements and applicable laws or standards. Products should not be modified, installed or used in a manner inconsistent with their documentation. Where a product requires professional installation, commissioning or technical competence, the buyer is responsible for using appropriately qualified personnel unless I2PS has separately agreed to provide those services.
13. Mandatory consumer rights
These shopping terms are intended to state I2PS’s general commercial policy. They do not exclude, restrict or replace rights that cannot lawfully be waived under applicable federal, state or other consumer-protection law. If a product-specific term conflicts with a mandatory legal right, the mandatory legal right controls.
PART III

1. Information covered by this notice
This Privacy Notice describes information processed through I2PS Solutions websites and online features. It does not replace privacy terms contained in a separate contract, employment relationship, supplier agreement or service-specific notice.

3. Information collected automatically
When you use the websites, I2PS and its service providers may process technical information such as IP address, browser or device type, operating system, referring pages, pages viewed, approximate region derived from network information, timestamps, diagnostic events and security logs. Where enabled, analytics technologies may use cookies or similar identifiers to understand website use and performance.
Some pages may also use call-attribution technology to display or measure telephone contact. Those providers may process technical or call-attribution information in accordance with their own policies and the configuration used by I2PS.
4. How information is used
I2PS may use personal information to operate and secure the websites; respond to inquiries; create and administer accounts; review editorial submissions; communicate about products, projects or services; process requested transactions; maintain records; analyze website performance; detect abuse or fraud; comply with law; and establish, exercise or defend legal rights.

Third-party analytics and communications providers may offer their own controls or opt-out mechanisms.
6. How information may be disclosed
I2PS may disclose information to service providers that support hosting, security, authentication, analytics, communications, email, call attribution, storage or other website operations; to professional advisers where appropriate; in connection with a legitimate corporate transaction; or where reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights and safety, investigate misuse, or respond to valid legal process.
I2PS does not authorize service providers to use information received solely to perform services for I2PS for unrelated purposes, subject to their independent legal obligations and the terms governing the service.
7. International processing
I2PS operates internationally. Information may therefore be processed in countries other than the country from which you access the website, including where I2PS personnel or service providers operate. Applicable safeguards and legal requirements will be used where required.
8. Data retention
Information is retained for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including account administration, communications, editorial review, transaction records, security, dispute resolution and legal or regulatory obligations. Retention periods can vary by category of information and context.
9. Security
I2PS uses administrative, technical and organizational measures intended to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse or alteration. No website, network or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so users should also protect account credentials and avoid sending sensitive information through channels not designed for it.
10. Children
I2PS websites are general-audience business and engineering websites and are not directed to children under 13. I2PS does not knowingly seek to collect personal information online from children under 13 without any consent or other process required by applicable law. If you believe a child has provided personal information in circumstances where it should not have been collected, contact us so the matter can be reviewed.
11. Commercial email
Where I2PS sends commercial marketing email, recipients may use the unsubscribe method provided in the message or contact I2PS to request that marketing communications stop. Service, safety, account, transaction or other non-marketing communications may still be sent where appropriate.
PART IV
U.S. State Privacy Rights
Depending on your state of residence, the nature of the information and whether the relevant law applies to I2PS Solutions, you may have rights to request access to personal information, correction, deletion, a copy of certain information, information about categories of collection or disclosure, or an opt-out from certain uses defined by law. Applicable law may also protect you from discrimination for exercising privacy rights.
To submit a privacy request, email contact@i2psolutions.com with the subject Privacy Request and describe the request and the state in which you reside. I2PS may need to verify your identity and may request information reasonably necessary to do so. Authorized-agent requests may require proof of authority where permitted by law.
I2PS does not charge a fee for ordinary verified privacy requests unless applicable law permits a fee in specific circumstances. Some information may be exempt from a request where retention or use is required or permitted by law.
